Intimate, spiritual, elegant. These are some of the words that come to mind when describing the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright. Now you can experience his genius for yourself in the way he intended...by living inside his vision. In the solitude of this space there will be no velvet ropes or crowds, only an unfolding sense of tranquility.
When you reserve the house, you are reserving the entire house, not just a room. This fully equipped three bedroom; one and one-half bath house accommodates up to five people comfortably. It is yours alone to enjoy. All the comforts of home are here, but it is not a bed and breakfast. You need only bring your personal belongings. Supermarkets and restaurants are nearby. We provide coffee and tea for your use.
The house is surrounded by 30 wooded acres in Lake County, Ohio. The Chagrin River runs through the property and is a favorite place for fishing. The Metropark system is less than 2 miles away and offers a variety of outdoor activities. We are located 20 minutes east of downtown Cleveland and 15 minutes from University Circle, home of the Cleveland Orchestra, Cleveland Museum of Art, Western Reserve Historical Society and Natural History Museum among others
Overnight Rentals
Two-night minimum.
Five (5) person maximum.
An additional fee of $100 per person/per night will apply for groups larger than five.
Rates:
• (M-Th): $425
• (F-Sun): $500
• Weekly 6-night special: $2,200
A 50% deposit will be taken at the time of reservation.
Tax (5%) and a $75 cleaning fee will be added at the time the balance is applied.
Balance will be added to your card approximately 30 days prior to reservation date.
Corporate Events
Non-overnight special events are restricted to corporate events, business retreats, non-profit events, architectural groups or to those with an interest in architecture. No weddings or other party events.
Maximum guests: 20.
Special event hours: 4pm to midnight
Rates:
• $800 for the first four hours.
• $100 for each additional hour.
• To be paid in full at the time the reservation is made.
Security deposit: $500 (due at time of reservation) Will be refunded in 72 hours after the event (provided no damage has occurred).
Parking
Parking for overnight stays is limited to 2 cars. Parking for events is limited to 8 cars. Parking along driveway is permitted. No parking is allowed on the lawn.
Cancellations
Cancellations with more than 30 days notice: you may reschedule your dates without penalty and transfer any amount paid to the rescheduled dates. Cancellations with less than 30 days notice: the deposit and service fee will be forfeited. Any balance due amount paid will be refunded.
Restrictions
• No pets are allowed at any time.
• No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Rental Equipment
All rental equipment must be removed from the premises by the agreed upon event end time. Equipment and/or rental supplies left at the time of departure will be removed at the expense of the person/s reserving the house. The house must be left in the condition in which it was found to avoid additional cleaning charges.
Catering
Caterers can access the house at 3:00 pm on the day of the event. All catering and clean-up arrangements are the responsibility of the person/s reserving the house.
